Carol Ann Chavis Obituary

With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Carol Ann Chavis of Manchester, Connecticut, whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on June 26, 2025 at the age of 83. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

As Carol Ann departs from our midst, her spirit ascends to join the cosmic dance of stars, a shimmering constellation of memories that will forever grace the night sky of the hearts of those who loved Carol Ann. Though Carol Ann may no longer walk beside us, her legacy lives on — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of time and space.

She was predeceased by: her parents, James P. Henderson and Winifred F. Henderson (Lennon); her husband Victor; her son Victor Chavis III; and her sister Jean Rickert.

She is survived by: her daughter Carol Alisa Filecco (Thomas); her granddaughters, Megan and Angela Filecco; and her sister Mary Chasse. She is also survived by nieces, nephews, cousins and friends.
