She was predeceased by: her son Wayne Hess; and her sister Dora Godere. She is survived by: her husband Douglas Hess of Michigan; her daughters, Sandy Moyer (Bill) and Debbie Vance (Marc); her grandchildren, Stephen Hess (Jamie), David Hess (Laura), Vicky Reynolds, Dana Keenan (Pete), Dan Kobylanski (Ioana) and Adam Moyer (Liz); her siblings, Joe Sivo (Sue), Caroline Hunt and Nick Sivo (JoAnn); her sister-in-law JoAnn Sivo; and her granddaughter-in-law Laura Hess. She is also survived by twelve great grandchildren; three great great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Friday, May 8th 2026 from 4:00 PM to 6:00 PM at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home (219 W Center St, Manchester, CT 06040).
