He is survived by: his parents, Jay Earl Thames of New Britain and Joyce M. Thames of Hartford; his wife Geralyn Rosemond Thames (Rosemond); his children, Dyshawn Thames (Glendowlyn) of Hartford, Brandon Walton (Maggie) of Bensalem, LaQuonne Thames (Ashley Gomes) of Manchester, Darryl E. Thames, Jr. of Manchester and Ernie Henderson (Tamika) of Middletown; his grandchildren, LaQuonne Thames, Jr., Kennedy Michelle Thames, D'Andre Thames, Kyrie Earl Thames, Paris Walton, Joel Walton and Kobe Thames; and his siblings, Lori Wall, Todd Sailor, Jill Jenkin, Amy Lynch, Juanita Fuller, Michael Brownstein, Daniel Brownstein and Courtney Thames. He is also survived by aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, cousins, friends.
