He was predeceased by: his parents, Russell Edwin Holmes and Jane Billing Steele Holmes. He is survived by: his wife Carole Holmes (Enderlin); his children, Matthew Dignan Holmes (Madeleine) of Boston and Jillian Angeli Holmes (Jeremy Brooks) of Groveton, NH; his siblings, John Holmes (Jan) and Judy Blanchette; his siblings-in-law, Lee, Marie Enderlin, Patricia Enderlin, Terri, Joe DeCormier, Jo Ann, Don McQuaid, Mary Enderlin (Craig) and Jackie Sander; and his nieces and nephews, Cindy, Jacqui, Christina, Jennifer, Nicole, Leon, Ryan, Kara and Allie.
