David Walter Haddox Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of David Walter Haddox in Manchester, Connecticut, who passed away on March 10, 2025 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his son Kenneth Lewis Haddox; his parents, Maureen Baldwin and Howard Haddox; his stepparents, Lauren Baldwin, Irene Fisk and Mel Fisk; and his siblings, Don Baldwin, Ron Baldwin, Carolyn Whiteside, James Haddox, Delbert Haddox, Howard Haddox, Alice Miles and Nancy Lee.

He is survived by: his wife Donna Haddox; his children, Pamela Corcoran (Timothy Corcoran) and David H. Haddox; his granddaughters, Rebecca Stevens (Karl) and Melissa Alford (David Alford); his great grandchildren, Olivia, Connor Stevens and Amelia Alford; and his sisters, Millie McCollough and Susan Fisk.

Visitation was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home (400 Main St, Manchester, CT 06040). A funeral service was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 11:30 AM to 12:00 PM at the same location. A burial was held on Monday, March 17th 2025 from 12:30 PM to 12:45 PM at the Mount Hope Cemetery (104 Main St, Vernon, CT 06066).

In lieu of flowers, charitable donations can be made to Talcottville Congregational Church or the Connecticut Humane Society.

You taught them so may unique ways of experiencing the wonders and beauty of nature along with survival skills. Your soft demeanor made you approachable to children and adults. Our Family Camping trips will not be the same without you. You will be sorely missed. We Love You.”
