He was predeceased by: his parents, Joan (McCloskey) and John O'Neill, Sr.; his brother Kevin; and his aunts, Johanna and Elizabeth.
He is survived by: his children, Daniel O'Neill (Ryann) of Vernon, Kelley O'Neill (Laura) of South Windsor, Morgan O'Neill of Manchester, Dennis O'Neill Jr. (Amy Kulas) of South Windsor, Holly O'Neill (Brian Baver) of Manchester and Evan O'Neill (Brenda Sanchez) of Manchester; his grandchildren, Shaylee, Steven, Evan, Olivia, Callum, Finn, Faith, Jewelz and Evan Jr.; his brothers, Colin O'Neill (Lisa), John O'Neill (Susan), Terrance O'Neill (Maureen) and Timothy O'Neill; and his aunt Mary O'Neill. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that any memorial donations be made to the American Cancer Society Hope Lodge, 132 West 32nd Street, New York, NY 10001.
