She is survived by: her husband Michael Ackerman; her sons, Gabriel Ackerman (Michelle) and Seth Ackerman (Christa); her grandchildren, Evan, Levi, Sophia and Owen; and her brothers, Robert Gesswin (Diane) and David Gesswin.
