She was predeceased by: her parents, Angel Cuevas and Ramona Carire; her husband Adolfo Rivera; her sons, Wilson, Jose, Miguel and Ismael; her brothers, Theodore Cuevas and Gumersindo Cuevas; and her brother-in-law Aquino Medina.
She is survived by: her children, Haydee Rivera, Mirta Rivera (John Carta), Miriam Rivera (Efrain Rivera), Hector Rivera, Eliglo Rivera (Lourdes), David Rivera, Jesus Rivera (Cassie) and Luis Rivera (Barbara); her siblings, Maria Cuevas, Emiliana Ramos, Myrna Colon and Rogelio Cuevas; her sister-in-law Maria Baez; and her daughter-in-law Linda Rivera. She is also survived by 22 grandchildren and 27 great-grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 12:00 PM at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home (219 W Center St, Manchester, CT 06040). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, October 8th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 1:00 PM at the same location.
