She was predeceased by: her parents, Ronald King and Martha King; her husband Maurice R. Brochu; her siblings, Reginald King, Joyce Keeler, Clarice Short, Raymond King, Norma Ives, Alton King, Frederick King, Dennis King, Sheila Lawrence, Darlene Hutchins and Randall King Sr.; and her granddaughter Kristin Bell.
She is survived by: her children, Jimmy Brochu (Pam) and Sabrina Bell; her grandchildren, Jennifer Rodriguez (Pete), Justin Brochu (Kassi), Sarah Kilburn (Shawn) and Amanda Bell; her sisters, Cheryl Aplin and Delores Sylvester (Reginald); and her great grandchildren, Ava, Evan Rodriguez, Landen Brochu, Scarlett Kilburn, Lexi Bell and Hailey Polzun.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home (219 W Center St, Manchester, CT 06040). A funeral service will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the same location. A burial will be held on Friday, October 16th 2026 from 12:00 PM to 12:30 PM at the St. James Cemetery (368 Broad St, Manchester, CT 06040).
In lieu of flowers memorial donations may be given to Masonicare Hospice Care or the Manchester Citadel of the Salvation Army.
