He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Strimaitis and Wanda Strimaitis (Zanis); his wife Essie Strimaitis (Graham); and his siblings, Beatrice, Joseph, Albert and Aldonna Strimaitis.
He is survived by: his children, Edward Strimaitis, David Strimaitis (Janet) and Marcia Papastrat (Peter); his granddaughters, Sarah Bilello (Chris) and Anna Grinath (Josh); and his great grandchildren, Grace and Justin. He is also survived by numerous extended family members and friends.
Visitation will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the Holmes-Watkins Funeral Home (400 Main St, Manchester, CT 06040). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 12th 2026 at 4:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Boston Children's Hospital, 300 Longwood Avenue, Boston, MA 02115.
