He was predeceased by: his parents, George Zachmann and Elizabeth Zachmann (Pfarr); his wife Caroline; and his brothers, Joseph (Rena Zachmann) and John (Maureen Zachmann).
He is survived by: his children, Michael (Denise) of New Britain, CT and Eliza (Brian Elmy) of Manchester, CT; his granddaughters, Rachael and Alyssa Elmy; and his brother Gerard Zachmann of Clifton Park, NY. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
