He was predeceased by: his father Francis DeSimone; his in-laws, Rocco and Elizabeth Christiano; and his nephews, Ryan Kerley and Neal DeSimone.

He is survived by: his mother Beverly DeSimone (Linnell); his wife Jane DeSimone (Christiano); his children, Christina Giordano (Andrew) of West Hartford and Jeremy DeSimone of Manchester; his grandchildren, Ava and Leo Giordano; and his siblings, Joel DeSimone, Mark DeSimone (Kim), Lynn Kozlowski (Lenny), Mary Donald (Chris), Dawn Sprague (Ray), Neal DeSimone and John DeSimone (Jen). He is also survived by his many nieces, nephews, extended family members, and countless friends.

In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Massachusetts General Hospital Memory and Movement Disorders Unit and The J. Philip Kistler Stroke Research Center, where Guy was proud to participate in a research study.
