Ida Marie Anderson Obituary
With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Ida Marie Anderson (Manchester, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on October 20, 2025 at the age of 88. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Wayne A. Anderson; her parents, Herman Johnson and Mildred Johnson (Berggren); her sister Ruth M. Johnson; and her brother-in-law Ron Prentice.
She is survived by: her sister Barbara Prentice of Eugene; her sister-in-law Janet Acker of Statesville, NC; and her nieces and nephews, Sara, Eryn Manela, Wendy, Rob Hand and Paul Acker (Cheri). She is also survived by numerous extended family members, cousins, nieces, and a nephew.
In honor of Ida's memory, the family suggests donations be made to Emanuel Lutheran Church, Manchester CT and the Visiting Nurse and Health Services of CT, 8 Keynote Dr. Vernon, CT, both causes close to her heart.
