He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Connolly and Annie Magee Connolly; and his siblings, Joanie Custer, William J. "Jack" Connolly and Harry J. "Joe" Connolly.
He is survived by: his children, James W. "Jimmy" Connolly, Jr. (Wendy) of Columbia, Marian E. Doucette (Bob) of Glastonbury, Angela M. Peretto (Mike) of Vernon, Brian E. Connolly (Kim) of Vero Beach, Gary V. Connolly (Kim) of Wethersfield and Mark R. Connolly (Gayle) of Palmetto, Florida.. He is also survived by 16 grandchildren and 14 great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews.
