She was predeceased by: her husband Errol W. Pennington; her parents, Stephen Starbird and Anna Starbird (Jackson); and her brother Robert. She is survived by: her children, Brian E. Pennington (Charlene) of Middletown, Kevin J. Pennington (Taeko) of Hanahan, SC and Debra A. Dittmar of South Windsor; her grandchildren, Tyler Pennington, Arianna Pennington, Justin Dittmar, Sean Dittmar and Brady Pennington; her siblings-in-law, Richard and Mary-Ann Pennington of Vernon; her cousins, Carol and David Eccles; and her sister-in-law Brenda.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 18th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:30 AM at the Samsel & Carmon Funeral Home (419 Buckland Rd, South Windsor, CT 06074). A celebration of life will be held on Thursday, June 18th 2026 at 11:30 AM at the same location.
