We are sad to announce that, on December 29, 2025, at the age of 81, John Cooper Long Jr. of Manchester, Connecticut passed away. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, John Long and Jane Long of Manchester; and his sister Terry Long. He is survived by: his sister Nancy Dolce of Springfield, Virginia.; his wife Mary Long (Malloy); his daughters, Susan Long Patrick (Mark) of Washington, D. C., Maureen Long of New London, Connecticut and Maggie Long Scroope (Henry) of Granger, Indiana.; and his grandchildren, Mallory Patrick, Morgan, Sean and Henry Scroope V.
In Lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Riley Children's Hospital in Indianapolis, IN.
