He was predeceased by: his parents, James Marchetti and Constance Marchetti (Sparano); his sister Catherine Ward (Al Ward); his nephew Tim Anderson; and his sisters-in-law, Barbara Marchetti, Barbara Granucci and Christine Denette.
He is survived by: his wife Margaret "Peggy" Marchetti (Granucci); his sons, John Marchetti (Suzy) of Greenwich and Edward Marchetti (Erinn) of Higganum; his brother James of Naples, FL; his grandchildren, Benjamin Marchetti, Nathan Marchetti, Alexandra Marchetti, Katherine Marchetti and James Marchetti; his siblings-in-law, James Granucci of Columbus, GA, Ellen Anderson of East Hartford and Linda Mylod (James) of Anderson, SC; and his friends, Charles, Linda Groves of Simsbury, Bill and Diane Wirth of Stratford. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews and grand nieces and nephews.
