He was predeceased by: his wife Sondra Gilbert (Swedt); and his father Clarence Gilbert. He is survived by: his children, Kelly Prattson, Kimmy Gilbert, John Michael Gilbert, Monique Gilbert and Edward Gilbert; his stepson Robert Finan; his grandchildren, Mikey, Regina, Shanna, Maximus, Brooklyn, Olivia, Cyrus, Hannah and Cora; and his great grandchild Isabella. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, nephews and extended family.
