He was predeceased by: his parents, Michael Barkasy, Jr. and Theresa Barkasy (Dugan); and his brother David Barkasy. He is survived by: his wife Carol M. Barkasy; his children, Mark Jr. (Elena Barkasy), Krislynne (William Krukoski) and Joel (Beth Savage Barkasy); his grandchildren, Dylan (Peyton Barkasy), Sean Barkasy, Zephyr and Anora Barkasy; and his siblings, Michael III (Shirley Barkasy), Mary (Wayne Moore) and Jesse (Gisela Barkasy). He is also survived by nieces, nephews and friends.
