She was predeceased by: her parents, Lorenzo Sr. Vega and Inocencia Vega (Burgos); her son Ismael Nunez; and her siblings, Iris and Ramon.
She is survived by: her children, Carlos Noel Vega (Nancy Santana) of Bristol, Johanna Tirado of Manchester and Jessica Tirado of Hartford; her grandchildren, Rosa, Jadah (Dwayne), Jaylon, Ariana, Jaylise and Jordhan; and her siblings, Andrea, Carmen, Gladys, Myrna, Nelly, Lorenzo Jr., Frank and Felix. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
