She was predeceased by: her parents, George J. Coleman and Ethel Marie O'Brien. She is survived by: her husband John Claudio Rivosa; her children, Ann R. Johnston (Collins D. Johnston II), Deborah J. Rivosa (Roger Lajoie) and John Coleman Rivosa II (Gerilyn Rivosa); her grandchildren, Collins D. Johnston III, John Coleman Rivosa Jr., Olivia Sage Rivosa and Alec James Rivosa; her great grandchildren, Mallory and Corey Johnston; and also Alexander Coleman Johnston (Dana Johnston). She is also survived by his grandmother's companion.
