He was predeceased by: his former wife Elizabeth; and his parents, Stuart Harding and Rose Harding. He is survived by: his wife Betty; his daughters, Dawn (Ronald Stavens), Sharon (Noel Michaud), Lori Harding and Kathy Ryan of Manchester, CT.; his grandchildren, Sara (Michaud), Greg Piechowicz of Vernon, CT, Caitlin (Stavens), Paul Meucci of Ellington, CT, Joshua Michaud (Megan) of Manchester, CT, Ashley (Stavens), John Pelletier of Stafford Springs, CT and Alexandra Fischer; and his great grandchildren, Wesley, Wilder, Cal and Warren. He is also survived by extended family members and dear friends.
In lieu of flowers, Richard wished to be remembered through a donation made in his honor to the Vernon Volunteer Fire Department, PO Box 951, Vernon, CT 06066.
