With profound sadness, we say goodbye to Robert C. Albert of Manchester, Connecticut, whose vibrant spirit touched the lives of many. He was predeceased by: his parents, Clarence Albert and Alice Albert (Michaud); and his brother Ronald Albert. He is survived by: his wife Sally; his children, Michael Albert (Heather), Mark Forgeron (Audrey), Karen Albert, Steven Albert (Patty) and Kathi Ann Sawka (Ken); his grandchildren, Rebecca Griffis (Kevin), Samantha Albert, Kyle Forgeron (Jillian), Daryn Forgeron, Nicholas Sawka, Brett Sawka, Jack Albert and Matthew Albert; his great grandchild Sarah; and his brother Richard Albert. He is also survived by nephew and numerous nieces.
Visitation will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the John F. Tierney Funeral Home (219 W Center St, Manchester, CT 06040). A prayer will be held on Friday, October 10th 2025 at 5:00 PM at the same location. A Mass of Christian burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the St. Bartholomew Church (736 Middle Tpke E, Manchester, CT 06040). A burial will be held on Saturday, October 11th 2025 from 11:15 AM to 11:45 AM at the St. James Cemetery (368 Broad St, Manchester, CT 06040).
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made to the Manchester Area Conference of Churches (MACC) or The Wounded Warrior Project.
