It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Rory A. Yungk of Manchester, Connecticut, born in Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on March 16, 2026, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert P. Yungk and Olga Wilcox; and his sisters-in-law, Suzanne Moore and Judith Laise. He is survived by: his wife Carole Yungk (Laise); his daughters, Karen Conway of Vernon, Cynthia Postemski (Danny) of Willington and Beth Arvidson of Palm Bay, FL; his grandchildren, Matthew Conway (Alina) of Hebron, Christopher Conway of Taos, Kevin Conway (Ainsley Urey) of Vernon, Heather Breton (Ernie Pagano) of Stafford Springs, Trevor Arvidson of Bolton, Erica Arvidson (Jake Tomick) of Palm Bay, FL and Danny Postemski (Kelli) of Cocoa, FL; his great grandchildren, Joshua, Nadia Conway, Levi, Easton Pagano, Oliver Tomick and Sean Postemski; his siblings, Barbara Berntsen (Harold) of East Swanzy, NH, Robert Yungk (Carol) of Whiteville, NC and David Yungk (Susan) of Manchester; and his brother-in-law Terrance Laise. He is also survived by nieces and nephews.
