She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Schneider and Bertha Schneider (Dey); her granddaughter Erica Langille; and her sister-in-law Marion Schneider. She is survived by: her husband Melvin Hellstrom; her daughter Diane Gawlinski (Edward) of South Windsor; her grandchildren, Allison DeSimone (Brett) of Bridgewater, MA and Benjamin Gawlinski (Laurie Vaillancourt) of South Windsor; her great grandchildren, Layla, Jude DeSimone, Natalie, Samuel and Jacob Langille; her grandson-in-law Shane Langille of Pike, NH; and her brothers, Frederick Schneider of Florida and Jonathan Schneider (Joyce) of Arizona.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Endowment Fund at Emanuel Lutheran Church.
