He was predeceased by: his parents, Austin C. Pomeroy and Elizabeth Fowler Pomeroy (Peck); his grandchildren, Kayla Betts and Joe Betts; his great grandchild Peyton Jones; and his nephews, James Desso and Kevin Pomeroy.

He is survived by: his wife Sandra Pomeroy (Lassen); his children, Robert Mulcahy (Bethany) of Manchester, Michelle Betts (Thomas) of Lampasas, TX, Tina Pomeroy-Anderson of Lampasas, TX, Sabrina Pomeroy of Harker Heights, TX and Jessica; his siblings, Charlie, Gordon Pomeroy (Phyllis) of Latham, NY and Phyllis Goehring of Vernon, CT; his grandchildren, Jerry Seward II (Shante), Randy Betts, David Anderson, Drew Anderson, Christian Cabrera, Skylar Cabrera, Emily Schwabe, Andrew Schwabe and Isaiah; his brother Drake; and his great grandchildren, Taylor Anderson, Jace Anderson, Madilynn Seward and Evalynn Seward.

“Very sad to read the passing of CDR. Bill Pomeroy. The first time I met Bill he was smiling, and shaking my hand. Bill was CDR. of the American Legion in Manchester, and I was with the VFW. Next time I saw Bill was in the lounge of the Legion. Just the 2 of us. Due to ISSUES I was now CDR. of the VFW. I told Bill I didn't want it. Then out came the handshake, and the smile. "We'll work together, whenever we can. We both have the same members. Do it!" We did. His word was Un-breakable. SALUTE.”
