It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara Ruth Olbrias of Mansfield Center, Connecticut, born in Willimantic, Connecticut, who passed away on May 15, 2023, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. She is survived by : her children, Debra Vigneault (Linwood), Richard Cooper (Elaine), Gary Cooper (Laurie) and Edward Olbrias, Jr. (Barbara); her sister Doris Bean; her grandchildren, Christina Brookes, Ryan Cooper, Melissa Kennelly (Justin), Andrew Brookes (Vanessa), Benjamin Brookes (Natalia), Edward Olbrias, III, Amy Szirbik (Shawn), Eric Olbrias, Julia Cooper and Emerson Cooper; her great grandchildren, Giovanni Mason-Brookes, Samantha Cruz, Nicholas Brookes, Olivia Brookes, Raelynne Kennelly, Reeves Kennelly, Ava Brookes, Guinevere Szirbik, Elizabeth Szirbik and Alexander Szibik; and her aunt Barbara. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.

“My Aunt Barbara was 1 of the kindest person I’ve known. We used 2 talk all the time, I’ll miss you so much Aunt Barb. My heart is broken 💔 & I will miss all of our talks on the phone, but you are in heaven & U R now 1 of gods angel, & you are now with everyone who has passed before you, you are now together in the presence of our incredible Lord and Savior. I can’t believe you are gone, BUT you may be gone, but you will never ever be forgotten. You will always be in my heart.”
