It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Lorraine S. Watkins of Marlborough, Connecticut, born in East Hartford, Connecticut, who passed away on August 23, 2023, at the age of 96, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by : her parents, Ernest Simon and Violet Simon (Freeman); and her siblings, Walter C Simon and Irene D. Annis. She is survived by : her sons, Gordon A. Watkins Jr. (Kathleen Mihalyak) of McCormick, SC, Roy B Watkins (Patricia) of Marlborough and Jeffrey S. Watkins (Jeannie Fellion) of Broad Brook; and her grandchildren, Brian Watkins, Burton Watkins (Keri), Krystal Watkins (Christopher), Karley Root (Rob), Dawn Viera (Jonathan), Austin Watkins and Violet Watkins. She is also survived by six great grandchildren.
