He was predeceased by : his parents, Mildred Ulrich (Perry) and Herbert Ulrich; and his sister Joan. He is survived by : his significant other Joanne Hooper; his sons, Dean (Marianne) of Bluffton, SC. and Todd (Vanessa) of Hollis, NH.; his granddaughter Kaitlyn (Kenneth Long) of Reddington, CT.; and his great grandchildren, Henry, Jacob, Max Long and Kelly Ulrich of Charlotte, SC.
