With solemn hearts, we announce the passing of Alfredo Vazquez (Meriden, Connecticut), whose presence will be deeply missed, having departed on April 20, 2024 at the age of 89. Leave a sympathy message to the family on the memorial page of Alfredo Vazquez to pay them a last tribute.

He was predeceased by : his spouse Bernarda "Nati" Vazquez; his parents, Gervasio Vazquez and Leonora Vazquez (Rios); and his siblings, Rosa Agudo, Jose Vazquez (Pepin), Carmin Vazquez, Elsie Acosta, Elba Vazquez, Justino Vazquez and Efigeno Vazquez.

He is survived by : his daughters, Ivette Vasquez and Yvonne Jimenez (Peter); his grandchildren, PJ (Gabriel) and Isaac Hunter; and his sisters, Margarita Rivera (Manuel), Iris Nevarez (Eddy), Ester Rivera (Alfredo), Leonora Cajigas (Jose) and Virginia Mirles (Geño). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.

Visitation was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 from 9:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home (88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450). A Mass of Christian burial was held on Thursday, April 25th 2024 at 11:30 AM at the St. Rose of Lima Church (35 Center St, Meriden, CT 06450).
