She was predeceased by : her parents, Cody Toogood and Dorothy Toogood (Massey); and her brothers, Arthur Toogood, Harold Toogood Sr. and Lawrence Toogood.

She is survived by : her husband William Brown; her children, Constance Toogood (Connie) of Meriden, CT, Towanda Tinsley (Chris Tinsley) of Charlotte, NC, Danielle Brown of Charlotte, NC and Eric Toogood Sr. (Nancy Milewski) of Meriden, CT; her grandchildren, Nisha Toogood, Tiffany Davis, Eric Toogood Jr., Alexis Toogood, Jeremiah Villa, Andrew Givens, Elijah Tinsley, Olivia Coachman, Gabrielle Scarlett, Darius Scarlett and Ishmael Brown; her great grandchildren, Niazia McKnight, Kyng Travis Allen, Egypt Allen, Mason Toogood, Alanna McNamara and Jordyn McNamara; her sister Elaine Toogood of Baltimore, MD; her goddaughter Rasheeda Inman; her friend Elizabeth; and her pet Dee "Deedo". She is also survived by relatives and friends.
