She was predeceased by: her mother Dorothy Meggett; her husband Joe Louis Spikes; and her son Joe Spikes, Jr.. She is survived by: her child Courtney; her sisters, Joyce Bivans (Mike) and Donna Cunningham Campbell (Marvin); her daughters, Yvonne Taylor and Minnette Powell (Sherman); her nibling Courtney Spikes; and her grandchildren, Jamie King (Dorean), Jameel Spikes, Chad Spikes, Ninnette (Jermaine Johnson), Isabella Osborne and Marley Spikes.
