With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Carmel T. Papandrea Tkacz of Meriden, Connecticut, who passed away on June 12, 2023 at the age of 99. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Salvatore Papandrea and Immaculata Wodatch Papandrea; her husband Joseph Tkacz; her sisters, Grace Chiaro, Rose Benoit, Georgette Papandrea and Gloria Santerre; and her son-in-law Benjamin L. Belancik, Sr..
She is survived by: her children, Joseph Tkacz, Jr. (Barbara) and Debra Belancik; her brother Anthony Papandrea of Berlin; her grandchildren, Joseph Tkacz, III (Chrissy White), Tiffany Belancik, Brian Tkacz and Benjamin Belancik (Laura); and her great grandchildren, Jocelyn Tkacz, Gracie Rose and Anna Marie Belancik. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
