He is survived by: his close friend Sean Yasensky; his pet Ragnar; his daughters, Stephanie Dacunto (Nick) and Sara Neilson; his parents, Dan Showalter Sr. of Fallbrook and Patricia Neilson (Keefe) of Buffalo; his siblings, Kathleen Neilson of Phoenix and Tom Neilson (Maria) of Buffalo; and his parents-in-law, Roger and Theresa Badgley of Southington.
