She was predeceased by: her parents, Gussie Benson and James Benson Sr. of New Haven, CT.; her brothers, Tommy and James Benson Jr.; and her niece Trevena Williams.
She is survived by: her pet DJ; her sons, Torray (Damaris) of Meriden, CT, Daniel (Chenik) and Christopher Armfield (Jasmine) of Hamden, CT.; her grandchildren, Torray Jr. Torrez, Danielle, De'ara, Delilah, Chris Jr., Chrisette Armfield, Abdul, Amya Perry and Marquette Elliot; her great grandchild Alessia Perry; her siblings, Judy Williams, Victoria (Eddie), Latasha Benson, Jarrey, David, Anthony and Gregory Benson; her nieces, Crystal Stevenson and Kirby Benson; and her nephew Anthony Stevenson. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews, family and friends.
