He is survived by: his wife Eva Sands (Rule); his children, Donald Sands (Kathy), Ken Sands (Rhonda), Lorri Daley (Patrick) of Meriden and Kimberly Clark (Michael) of Prospect; his grandchildren, Justin Sands, Melissa Glowasky, Alicia Sands, Jennifer Brewer, Donald Sands, Erica Cardona, Christina Daley, Katie Zisk, Rachel Quinones, Patrick Daley, Jonah Clark, Leah Clark, Grace Clark, Caleb Clark and Joshua Clark; and his sisters, Mable Colt (Carlisle) of Wallingford and Edna Neubauer (Ray) of Forestville. He is also survived by 4 loving children and 15 grandchildren.
