She was predeceased by: her parents, Frederick Lingner and Jean Lingner; and her brother Richard Lingner. She is survived by: her children, Cynthia Ferry (Michael) of Westbrook, CT, Deborah Best (Kevin) of Glen Gardner, NJ and David Skinner (Claudia) of East Haddam, CT.; her grandchildren, Danni Best, Rebecca Skinner, Jessie Best, Derek Skinner and Kelli Best; her sister-in-law Sandra Lingner; her nephews, John and Jason Lingner; her niece Jennifer Duprey; and her granddaughter Allie Best.
Dorothy loved her two grand dogs, Ruby and Roxy, so should friends desire; contributions in her memory may be made to any Pet Rescue organization.
