He was predeceased by: his father Arthur Willie Short. He is survived by: his wife Marie Mona Ulysse Savage; his mother Linda Savage; his sons, Ethan Savage, Jayden Savage and Elijah Ulysse; and his siblings, Bryan Short and Shana Short. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
