It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Elaine Helen Koss of Meriden, Connecticut, who passed away on April 19, 2026, at the age of 100, leaving to mourn family and friends. In the sacred silence of farewell, Elaine is released into the embrace of eternity, knowing that her light will continue to shine brightly in the tapestry of the lives of her loved ones. And as her memory is carried forward, may comfort be found in the knowledge that love is eternal, and that Elaine's spirit lives on in the beauty that surrounds us.
She was predeceased by: her husband Michael Koss; her parents, Charles Grzybowski and Lottie Grzybowski; and her former husband Raymond "Red" Pomian. She is survived by: her children, Laura Augustine (Michael), Cynthia Kohan (Jeffrey) and Jim Pomian; and her grandchildren, Jennifer Whelan, Katherine Augustine and Timothy Kohan (Rebecca).
