With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eunice Thompson Goodyear of Meriden, Connecticut, born in Middletown, Connecticut, who passed away on May 28, 2023 at the age of 97. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her husband Frederick Goodyear; her parents, Warren Thompson and Margaret Thompson (Freer); her children, Sharon Solek (Hank), Frederick "Ted" Goodyear Jr. and David Goodyear; and her siblings, Warren Thompson, Muriel Bailey and Elizabeth "Betty" Eager.
She is survived by: her sister Peggy Chadwick (Bill); her daughter-in-law Sandy Perlot Goodyear; her grandchildren, Susan Solek, Brian Solek (Shana), Kelly Aingworth (Ryan) and Erica Ballas (Michael); and her great grandchildren, Camryn, Whitney, Ryan, Oliver, Evelyn and Owen. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
