He is survived by: his children, Silvana Pellegrino (Jim), Gina Diorio (John) and Anthony Papaluca (Maria); his grandsons, Anthony, Alek Papaluca, Eric and Ryan Pellegrino; his stepgrandson Adam Civale; and his siblings, Rosa Cassala (late Francesco) of Calabria, Italy, Vincenzina Cassala (Carmelo) of Calabria, Italy and Bruno Papaluca (Maria) of Rome, Italy. He is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and cousins.
Visitation was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 from 8:30 AM to 10:00 AM at the John J. Ferry & Sons Funeral Home (88 E Main St, Meriden, CT 06450). A funeral service was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the Our Lady of Mount Carmel Church (109 Goodwill Ave, Meriden, CT 06451). An entombment was held on Saturday, September 27th 2025 at 11:30 AM at the Sacred Heart Cemetery (250 Gypsy Ln, Meriden, CT 06450).
