He was predeceased by: his parents, Emilio Vega and Tomasa Vega; his grandparents, Liborio Lorenzo and Telesfora Bonet; and his brother Walter Vega.
He is survived by: his wife Ann R. Vega (DiGiulio); his children, Frank Vega (Mandi) and Angela Moore (David); his grandchildren, Noah, Claire Vega, Emalie, Tyler and Madilyn Herzig; and his siblings, Tomas Lorenzo (Margarita), Jorge Lorenzo (Santiaga), Luis Vega (Awilda), Samuel Vega (Veronica) and Lily Velez (Ismael). He is also survived by godchildren, nieces and nephews, grandnieces and nephews, and great-grandniece and nephews.
