It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Gilbert Seguí Apuzzo Jr. of Meriden, Connecticut, born in New Haven, Connecticut, who passed away on January 13, 2022, at the age of 64, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Gilbert Seguí Juarbe and Carmenl Apuzzo; and his siblings, Josephine Cox, Eva Cretella, Frances McNamara, Carlos and Wilfredo Seguí.

He is survived by: his wife Julie Méndez Apuzzo; his children, Kyisha Barr (John) of Delaware, OH, Ronald Méndez (Nancy) of Willimantic, Gilbert Seguí Apuzzo, III (Rebecca Garner) of Watertown, Joshua Apuzzo (Julia Fernández) of Windsor and Timothy Jason Apuzzo of New York City; and his siblings, Charlene Apuzzo, Nitza Seguí, Patty Schulz, Anna Rivera, Annette Vollano, Marie Seguí and Daniel Morales. He is also survived by sixteen grandchildren, and four great grandchildren.
