He is survived by: his wife Melanie Gottlieb (Wilson); his daughter Kelly DeForest (Chip); his grandsons, Dalton and Garrett DeForest; and his sisters, Harriett Gottlieb, Norma Brown (Mark) and Laura Moore (Greg). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
