It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Jaime Gilbert of Meriden, Connecticut, born in Bridgeport, Connecticut, who passed away on August 30, 2023, at the age of 48, leaving to mourn family and friends. He is survived by: his parents, Josephine Laub (Sopko) of North Haven and Harry Gilbert of Hamden; his brother Christopher Gilbert (Kelly) of Wallingford; his niece Skye Gilbert; his nephew Taye Gilbert; his brothers, Justin Gilbert of North Carolina and Jordan Gilbert of Florida; his stepfather Jan Laub of Florida; and his friends, Renee Pelletier, Rachel Laskowski of Plainville, Jeff (LJ), Hope Granata of Meriden, Roger, Karen Rainville of Meriden and Catherine Christian of South Carolina. He is also survived by his aunts, uncles, and cousins.
