With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James F. Canning of Meriden, Connecticut, who passed away on December 12, 2025 at the age of 82. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, James Canning and Sariolyn Canning; his grandson Gavin; and his sisters, Janice and Sandy.
He is survived by: his wife Susan Canning; his children, Julia, James (Angie), Joseph and Michael (Beth); and his grandchildren, Alexsa, Emma and Olivia.
In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be made in James's memory to St. Jude Children's Hospital.
