It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet S. McCauley of Meriden, Connecticut, born in Naugatuck, Connecticut, who passed away on February 11, 2026, at the age of 95, leaving to mourn family and friends. Though her name may fade from the lips of time, the imprint Janet leaves upon the hearts of her loved ones remains eternally vivid — a testament to the depth of her spirit and the richness of her legacy.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Elmer Schmitz and Jean Schmitz. She is survived by: her husband Elim Park; and her children, Sara Crowley (Gary) of Lakewood Ranch, FL, William McCauley (Marysia) of Centerville, MA and Dr. Thomas McCauley (Jamie) of Guilford, CT.. She is also survived by six grandchildren and 5. 5 great-grandchildren.
