She was predeceased by: her parents, Arlene Smith Newbury (Costello) and Charles V. Smith, Sr.; her former husband Edmund H. Tupay, Sr.; her son Edmund H. Tupay, Jr.; and her brother Charles V. Smith, Jr..
She is survived by: her husband Rodney Papineau; her children, Lauren Rizzuto (Thomas), Lynn Stagon (Robert), Joseph Tupay (Kristen), Kim Parmelee (Bill), Kathy Boehringer (Bob Weber) and Debora Lein (Timothy); her grandchildren, Jennifer Maring, James I. Moran, III, Jennifer McWilliams, Lilly Grossman, Ciana, Mattea Stagon, Kyle, Jordan, Andrew Tupay, Daniel, Mitchell Parmelee, Patrick Boehringer, Tyler Woodtke, Zachary Lein and Caris Disharoon; and her great grandchildren, Zachary, James, Caleigh, Paisley, Evan and Jack. She is also survived by several brothers-in-law, a sister-in-law, several cousins, two nieces and a nephew.
