He was predeceased by: his wife Hedwig Gudrian Gade; his parents, Richard Gade and Clarice Nevin Gade; and his siblings, Dorothy Dickinson, Clarice Knowles, Norman Gade and Lawrence Gade.
He is survived by: his nieces and nephews, Richard Dickinson (Judy), Lawrence Knowles, Karen Lindsey, George Knowles, Linda Salter, Gary Dickinson and Sandra Gade.
