With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Gwara of Meriden, Connecticut, who passed away on October 28, 2023 at the age of 92. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Stanley P. Gwara and Bridget Galaska; his siblings, Stanley, Anthony, Edward, Benjamin, Victoria Slowkowski, Angela Zawisza, Helen Ticino and Alice Victor; his stepchildren, Clifford Aldrich and Peggy Cary; and his stepmother Bernice Gwara (Galonska).
He is survived by: his spouse Flavia Gwara (Agosta); and his daughter Louise Lukas. He is also survived by three step-grandchildren.
